A concise course on character transformation: face shaping, colour, special effects basics and the shortcuts professionals use when time and budget are tight.

Everyday makeup is about enhancing what is there. Cosplay makeup is about changing it: a different face shape, a different age, a different species. Tutorials for one rarely work for the other, and expensive special-effects kits are not the answer for most characters.
This course teaches the small set of techniques that produce most of the transformation — contouring for shape, colour theory for skin tones that do not exist in nature, simple adhesives and textures for details — and shows how to get there with products from an ordinary drugstore.
Every lesson ends with a short exercise you can do at your mirror in under half an hour.
The course is eight video lessons of 15–25 minutes, each built around one transformation. You watch the technique explained on a model, then follow the same steps at your own mirror with the products from the budget kit list, pausing the video as often as you need.
Every lesson closes with a short checklist — what should look right at this point, and the one or two mistakes beginners make most. Photograph your result, compare it with the reference frame, and move on when you are satisfied.
There is no fixed schedule. Most people complete a lesson an evening and finish in two weeks; others return to single lessons before a convention.
Contour and highlight for sharper, rounder, older or younger features.
Mixing and layering colour so it reads correctly on camera and in daylight.
Priming, setting and touch-up kit on a budget.
Scars, veins, metallic and fantasy details without professional prosthetics.
A shortlist that covers most characters, and what to skip.
Lighting and angles that show the transformation.
The course focuses on efficiency: the fewest products and steps that still convince. You will see each technique applied to a real transformation from start to finish, then practise it on your own face.
Everything is demonstrated on different skin tones and face shapes, so you can adapt it to yourself rather than copy a single look.

Short lessons you can follow at your mirror.
You start with “Getting started”. It covers: Skin preparation and priming for long days; The budget kit: what you need and what you do not. Nothing in it assumes knowledge from later parts of the course, so you can begin the day you enrol.
By the end of that first part you will already have done something concrete rather than only watched — and you will know whether the pace suits you. If it does not, the 14-day guarantee means you lose nothing.
Creative skills respond to method more than people expect. A clear structure — technique, demonstration, practice, self-check — removes the guesswork and leaves the creative part where it belongs.
Because every lesson produces a finished piece, progress is visible, which is what keeps beginners going through the awkward early stage.
You open the kit list, buy a handful of affordable products and no longer wonder whether you need professional prosthetics. For the next character you decide the look, reshape your face with light and shadow, match the skin tone and add the details — in one sitting, with results that hold through a full convention day.
You also have a method for characters nobody has made a tutorial for: break the face into shape, colour and detail, and solve each with the techniques you now own.
