Watercolour, pastel and fashion illustration: lessons that teach technique through engaging assignments, so your child creates landscapes, still lifes and portraits worth keeping.

If your child loves drawing and wants to improve, this subscription is what they need. It includes lessons in various techniques and genres — pastel, watercolour, pencils — so every child finds something that appeals.
The lessons cover a wide range of non-standard topics to keep learning engaging and fun, and the theory is taught through assignments rather than lectures.
Your child will create pieces that can become part of their first portfolio.
Lessons are grouped by technique — watercolour, pastel, pencils and portraits, fashion illustration — and each lesson produces a finished artwork. Your child watches the lesson, pauses to work on each stage and compares with the reference at the end.
Theory is woven into the assignments: composition, proportion, light and colour appear when they are needed for the picture, not as separate lectures. Topics are deliberately non-standard to keep interest high.
A lesson takes 40–60 minutes of drawing time. One or two a week is a good rhythm; the material list for each block is short and inexpensive.
You start with “Watercolour”. It covers: Materials and washes; Landscapes with light and depth. Nothing in it assumes knowledge from later parts of the course, so you can begin the day you enrol.
By the end of that first part you will already have done something concrete rather than only watched — and you will know whether the pace suits you. If it does not, the 14-day guarantee means you lose nothing.
Creative skills respond to method more than people expect. A clear structure — technique, demonstration, practice, self-check — removes the guesswork and leaves the creative part where it belongs.
Because every lesson produces a finished piece, progress is visible, which is what keeps beginners going through the awkward early stage.
Your child draws with more confidence and more control: they choose a technique for the picture they want, use references instead of guessing, and finish pieces rather than abandoning them. The first portfolio takes shape on the wall or in a folder.
Just as valuable, they learn that skill comes from practice and method — a lesson that outlasts drawing.

The lessons assume the independence of a child of about 10; a younger child who draws a lot can follow with a parent nearby.
Each lesson ends with a self-check list that teaches the child to assess their own work, which is a skill in itself.
Pre-recorded video lessons with written summaries, available in your account on any device. You can pause, repeat and come back to any lesson whenever you like.
