Renovations go wrong on paper first

Unplanned expenses, delays and rooms that never feel right usually trace back to decisions made before the first wall was painted: no clear style, no zoning, no budget, materials chosen on impulse.

This course immerses you in interior design from scratch and ends with a complete, visual project of your future interior built in a 3D program. Along the way you learn how designers think about space, light, colour and money.

You also gain a personal assistant-designer for the duration of the course, a community of like-minded people, and practical tips you can use the week you learn them.

How the course works

Eight topics, each with video lessons, worked examples from real flats and a homework task applied to your own space. You start with styles and zoning, move through budgets and materials, then colour and light, and finish by modelling your interior in SketchUp.

The 3D lessons assume you have never opened the program: installation, navigation, walls, furniture, materials and a presentation view are shown click by click. Your model grows with each topic until it is a complete project.

For the duration of the course you have access to an assistant designer for questions about your project, and to a community of other students for inspiration and feedback.

Your own interior as the course project

Every lesson is applied to a real space — your flat, a room you plan to renovate or a dream project. By the end you have a complete design project: style, layout, zoning, materials, lighting plan and a 3D model you can show to builders.

You will also learn how to save money: where quality matters, where it does not, and how to avoid the mistakes that eat renovation budgets.

Your first steps

You start with “Styles and space”. It covers: Interior styles and how to recognise them; Zoning a space effectively; Arranging a small space. Nothing in it assumes knowledge from later parts of the course, so you can begin the day you enrol.

By the end of that first part you will already have done something concrete rather than only watched — and you will know whether the pace suits you. If it does not, the 14-day guarantee means you lose nothing.

What you get

Is this course for you?

This course is for you if…

  • You are planning a renovation and want to get it right
  • You want to start a career in interior design
  • You are looking for a creative hobby with visible results

Probably not a fit if…

  • You need professional architectural or structural training
  • You want advanced 3D rendering only

Why learn this in a structured course

Design is learned by doing a project under guidance, not by collecting inspiration. This course gives you the project (your own space) and the guidance (homework, feedback and consultations), and the inspiration takes care of itself.

Each topic adds one layer to the same project, so the skills connect in your hands rather than sitting in separate videos.

After the course

You hand your builder or contractor a complete project: layout, zoning, materials list, lighting plan, budget and a 3D model everyone can understand. Fewer surprises, fewer change orders, and a result that looks the way you imagined.

If you took the course for a new career, you also have your first portfolio project and the confidence to take on a client's space the same way.
